The Cokato City Council approved an interim management plan to address emerald ash borer threats and authorized staff to apply for a Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) EAB grant. Staff described the plan as a framework for boulevard, park and private-property outreach and emphasized the council would not mandate immediate removal of trees from private property.
