The Moab City Council voted unanimously on Jan. 27 to adopt an updated Community Wildfire Preparedness Plan (CWPP) developed jointly with Grand County and multiple stakeholders. City staff described the update as a five‑year plan emphasizing prevention, preparedness, mitigation and maintenance and said adopting the plan helps the city remain eligible for state cooperative wildfire support.
