The River Ridge School District Policy/Curriculum Committee met Aug. 10, 2026, and approved the set of ACT 89-related policy updates under review, with one exception. Committee members approved the package but deferred policy number 7530.02 — "Staff and School Officials Use of Personal Communication Devices (PCDs)" — and asked the full board to confirm which PCDs should be listed as appropriate methods of communication.
