Planning staff told commissioners the WinCo development the commission previously approved has been appealed to the Land Use Board of Appeals (LUBA) by Protect Our Valley Alliance and neighboring residents. The record has been filed and staff expects a briefing schedule to be formalized; the appellant will have 21 days to file an initial brief, followed by a staff response and possible oral argument.
