Kossuth County supervisors voted to abate incorrectly issued assessments for Drainage District 33's original main after staff discovered a 2013 reclassification schedule had not been entered in the county system. The board approved a motion to abate the assessment so landowners will not be charged incorrectly and directed staff to calculate refunds for any payments already collected.
