The chair of the Materials Management Planning Commission moved and the body approved a draft of the Lenawee County materials management plan and set a public hearing for Oct. 2, 2026, to begin a 60-day public comment period. The motion, read aloud by the chair, said: "So I'm motioning to approve the draft of the materials management plan as presented and set a public hearing 10/02/2026 at 10:05AM." The motion passed by voice vote.
