James Wallace, the petitioner for 120 Tulip Circle in Bremen, told the Marshall County Property Tax Assessment Board of Appeals that his property’s assessed value rose roughly 28% for 2026 and that the increase appears out of line with the local market. Wallace said he used online listings and two third‑party estimate sites to compare his home and pointed to a 24‑year‑old roof that he said would cost about $45,000 to replace, arguing that condition and inflated comparable listings should lower the assessed value.
