At a May 20 workshop, councilors agreed to test a short, factual weekly update—limited to about 200 words—submitted through a centralized channel so members can see ongoing work without engaging in off-record decision-making. "So if all you're doing is saying, hey. I got a call today from a citizen about, you know, cars illegally parked in front of the post office, sent a work order," one councilor said, framing the proposal as a factual report rather than discussion.
