The Florence mayor and board unanimously adopted the Community Water System Emergency Response Plan on June 16, 2026, following a recommendation from Mayor Trey Gunn. Alderman Mason Herrin moved adoption and Alderman Brian Grantham seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
