The City of Florence Mayor and Board on Aug. 4, 2026 voted unanimously to send Investigator Tanner McCue to a Mobile Device Forensics class in Biloxi, Mississippi, scheduled for Aug. 24–25, 2026. The motion to authorize travel and to have the city pay allowable expenses was made by Alderman Kyle Martin and seconded by Alderman Brent Sistrunk on recommendation of Police Chief Burns.
