The Health & Safety Committee on Sept. 14 discussed possible municipal rules for e-bikes, e-scooters and electronic motorcycles but took no action, tabling the item for additional staff research. Police Chief Eric Michaels said the principal safety problem he has observed involves children operating these vehicles through stop signs and creating roadway hazards.
