EDA submitted $1M Industrial Revitalization Fund application for proposed meat processing facility

The Page County Economic Development Authority reported that, on July 31, it and SVF Development submitted a $1 million application to the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development’s Industrial Revitalization Fund to support SVF’s proposed meat processing facility in Shenandoah. EDA member Dennis Fleming said the program received 11 applications requesting more than $9 million while less than $3 million in grant funding is currently available.
