Planning Commission presents 2025 annual report; master plan update expected this summer

Laura Mingan (speaker 6), principal at McKenna and Associates, presented the Planning Commission's draft 2025 annual report to the trustees, noting it is scheduled to be received and filed at the Board of Trustees meeting on March 10. “The Planning Commission met 19 times in 2025, 5 of which were study sessions,” Mingan said, and she summarized applications reviewed including special land-use applications, site plans, two zoning text amendments (sign requirements and a dark-sky provision), cluster housing options, rezonings and nearly 89 other reviews such as landscape and sign reviews.
