Tyler Bauer, Commissioner, raised concerns about a proposed resolution to rename Awalt Bridge to Randy Ward Bridge, saying that he had spoken to members of the nearby community who opposed the change. According to the minutes, "Many in that community had also served in the service and they were not in favor of the name change."
