Trustees approved a guaranteed-cost workers' compensation plan for West Oso ISD with Frost Insurance at the Dec. 15 meeting. Trustee Shirley Jordan moved approval, seconded by Priscilla Vela. The motion passed 5-1-0; Trustee Oscar Arredondo cast the sole dissenting vote. The agenda notes Texas Mutual Insurance Co. as the district’s current workers' compensation carrier for the 1/1/2026–1/1/2027 policy period.
