The Kearney Board of Aldermen unanimously approved Resolution 65‑2026 to adopt a standardized special event information permit and agreement for events held within the city. Deputy city clerk (presenter) said the process is designed to scale requirements by the size and complexity of an event and to address traffic, emergency access, security, medical needs and insurance requirements.
