4 Mile Road project timeline pushed as Wisconsin Gas and Caledonia sequencing changes work plan

Public works staff updated the board on 4 Mile Road: Wisconsin Gas unexpectedly notified the village it will begin gas relocation work, which in turn delayed the planned sanitary television and replacement work by Caledonia and pushed Wind Point’s water main restoration later in the construction sequence. The village anticipates directional boring for much of the gas work, but the sanitary and laterals work will require trenches across the roadway in sections and replacement of roughly 51 laterals in the project area.
