Commission authorizes representative to negotiate airport easements after closed session

The commission met in closed session from 7:15 p.m. to 7:47 p.m. to consider a property purchase; the minutes state that no decisions were made during closed session. After returning to open session, Fourth District Commissioner Carolyn McNary moved to authorize the city's representative, Tim Davis, to purchase easements and to authorize the City Manager and City Attorney to execute agreements and sign on behalf of the city. At-Large Commissioner Torrey Brown seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
