The Portage County Board of Adjustment approved a special exception allowing a commercial storage-unit facility on a parcel rezoned to highway commercial but located in a Groundwater/Wellhead Protection Zone C. County staff and board members focused questioning on contamination risks, emergency access, unit design and the potential for storage of hazardous liquids.
