The commission approved a memorandum of understanding allowing Rain for Rent to use a designated area of the Wastewater Treatment Facility drying pad as a laydown yard at no cost to the company. Executive Director Heath Ward said the utility will retain 24‑hour access to any stored equipment for emergency response purposes, and legal counsel reviewed the agreement with no concerns.
