The Springdale Water and Sewer Commission voted March 17 to award a contract to Bear Automation to replace the utility’s Ignition SCADA interface. Finance Director Chris Clark said Bear Automation was the sole bidder and submitted a proposal of $142,630, which is below the budgeted $225,000.
