Board backs Resound's BEAD grant support to expand eastern-county internet service
Las Animas County authorized a letter supporting Resound’s BEAD grant application to provide high-speed internet service in the county's eastern portion and authorized the county administrator to sign the letter.

Administrator Phil Dorenkamp told the board that Resound, an internet service provider, has signaled interest in expanding service into the eastern portion of Las Animas County and requested a letter of support for its BEAD grant application. Commissioners voted unanimously Nov. 5 to authorize a letter of support and to permit the administrator to sign on the county’s behalf.
