The Pierce County Board of Commissioners authorized the chairman to sign 2026–2027 fiscal-year interlocal agreements under the Nebraska Interlocal Cooperation Act (Neb. Rev. Stat. §13-801) to allocate levy authority and support pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. §77-3442(8). The agreements cover Pierce City, Plainview City, Osmond City, the Pierce County Agricultural Society, and multiple rural fire districts (Pierce, Plainview, Osmond, Hadar).
