The Burke County Board of Commissioners unanimously authorized filling an E911 dispatcher, a deputy clerk and three recreation positions at a called meeting Dec. 18, 2024; Chair Terri Lodge Kelly said budgeted positions need not return to the Board for approval each time they become vacant.
