Board accepts completed PHS track renovation; final payment approved
Pampa ISD accepted the completed track renovation and approved final payment after the contractor addressed cosmetic issues. Director of Operations Troy McClendon told trustees the company and CEI returned to correct problems and the district is now pleased with the final product.

Troy McClendon, Pampa ISD's Director of Operations, told the board the installed track had cosmetic issues following installation during an inclement summer but that the contractor and CEI returned to correct the work. "When the track was installed, we had a pretty inclement summer. There were issues that appeared to be cosmetic. We received a great deal, but the company representing us, CEI, came behind and said that we could not accept this work. The company came back and redid the work and we are now pleased with the final product," McClendon said.
