Board to gather data on affiliation options; strategic plan target set for FY2027
Following a Sept. 23 meeting with Good Group Decisions, the board agreed Oct. 3 to collect more data on pros and cons of staying affiliated versus moving to OPOR before making an affiliation decision; the strategic project is expected to complete by FY2027.

On Sept. 23, 2025, Dr. Smith and Office Specialist II Tina Carpentier met with Craig Freshley of Good Group Decisions to discuss strategic planning and affiliation options. At the Oct. 3 meeting the board said it needed additional data and analysis to weigh whether to remain affiliated with its current medical boards arrangement or move to OPOR; members agreed to divide research tasks among themselves with Tina coordinating.
