The Butler RDC reviewed and edited a draft facade grant application intended to guide downtown renovations, debating branding, applicant fields, eligible work and review procedures and directing staff to continue revisions for the next meeting.

The Chair introduced a draft downtown facade grant application the commission will use to distribute redevelopment funds and asked members to review it line by line. Committee member (S3) and others suggested adding a City of Butler cover page and Main Street logos; Committee member (S5) proposed simplifying applicant fields, like replacing a DUNS requirement with an email address for individual applicants.
