A school official told the Coffee County Budget & Finance Committee on March 26 that the district is reallocating $1,412,026.19 of an existing state grant for the county’s voluntary pre‑K program to comply with a state reporting requirement. The official said the funds are already in the budget and the amendment simply "call centers" those lines to meet what the state requires.
