Commissioner Smith used the comment period to extend seasonal greetings to Jewish residents ahead of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, noting Rosh Hashanah begins on Sept. 11. "I just want to extend to all our Jewish residents, best wishes for a happy New Year and an easy fast," Commissioner Smith said.
