The commissioners reviewed two bids for indigent disposition of remains. Text Line scored 13.85 in the county's weighted scoring matrix versus Wichita Falls Embalming's 12.9. County staff reported that in 2025 the Indigent Health Office received 70 notices for potential cremation applications and approved 51.
