At their Sept. 22 meeting, the Furnas County Board of Commissioners approved the meeting agenda, minutes and claims, authorized purchase of a 2022 Kenworth T680, declared a 2000 Green International truck surplus and adopted Resolution 2026-9-22B striking personal property tax.

The Furnas County Board of Commissioners convened on Sept. 22, 2026, in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room. Chairman Mike Sexton called the meeting to order at 9:35 a.m.; commissioners Dennis Tegtman and Allan McCoy, County Clerk Lois Bishop and County Attorney Patrick Calkins were recorded as present.
