The board opened a public hearing on Aug. 26 for David Merrell's application to split off a 5.85-acre parcel in a fraction of the Southwest Quarter, Section 32, Township 19 North, Range 5 West, to separate an existing house from the quarter. Zoning Administrator Victoria Olson confirmed the proposal met A-1 zoning standards and that no Waiver of Distances would be necessary.
