Chesterfield adopts corrected trash ordinance after numbering error fixed

Council members moved to correct a prior drafting error in local trash regulations and to adopt the corrected ordinance. One council member explained, "So this is basically a a correction of a mistake I made on the numbering for the ordinance we passed that was 20 25 6," and said the action would repeal the incorrect reference and replace it with the correctly numbered ordinance. The ordinance was read by title, moved through a second and third reading by motion to suspend the rules, and then adopted.
