Lawmakers approved the legislative executive recommendation to maintain current funding levels for the Department of Human Services' shared services and the secretary's office; staff said the operations appropriation comprises the majority of the division's spending.

The Joint Budget Committee approved the executive recommendation to fund the Department of Human Services' shared services appropriation and the secretary's office at current levels. Lila Walls of the Bureau of Legislative Research told the committee "The legislative recommendation is for nearly $356,000 with no changes from current appropriated levels." Chair opened the vote after questions and the committee adopted the recommendation by voice vote.
