Consultants and planning staff opened the Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee kickoff with an overview of the update's purpose, timeline and required statutory elements. "Comprehensive plan, I always like to say it's kinda like, what do you want your community to be when it grows up?" the consultant said, describing the plan as a forward‑looking policy guide that will inform land use, capital investment and code work.
