The Isanti County Planning Commission recommended the applicant present a preliminary plat for a proposed Braham compost site in Stanchfield Township after noting wetland review by the county TEP and township concerns about road use; one commissioner abstained because of a conflict of interest.

The Isanti County Planning Commission on Sept. 10 recommended approval to present a preliminary plat for a proposed compost site on the NE¼ of the SW¼ of Section 1 in Stanchfield Township. Jeremiah Sedler, chairperson, opened the item and City of Braham representatives Kevin Stahl and Mayor Nate George appeared on behalf of the applicant, Thomas Hesselroth.
