The committee moved to reconsider item 5 and then approved budget adjustment 2026-35085, which certifies revenue in the county health fund for a federally qualified candidate entity. Javar Jackson, who identified himself as CEO of Wayne County Healthy Communities, spoke briefly in support of certifying those funds for the group's operating year, explaining the operating year runs June to May.
