The Story County Board on Sept. 22 adopted a final "Animals in the Workplace and Service Animal Accommodation" policy, marking the third board discussion on the subject. Staff recommended adding explicit language to the policy to allow animal shelter adoption introductions as part of routine shelter procedures.
