Roy Dale, a civil engineer representing the property owner, presented design details Thursday for a proposed development on a 9.65‑acre parcel at 5995 Mountain View Road, adjacent to the Cascades multifamily complex. He said the property falls within an urban design overlay (UDO) adopted in 2005 that prescribes building types, landscaping and a pedestrian network that the site must follow regardless of base zoning.
