County approves multiple road and bridge change orders including $42,037 increase for Tanner Bridge
Commissioners approved several change orders: a $42,037.80 increase for Tanner Bridal Road bridge replacement (mostly covered by BRO funding), a $3,555 safety change order for Tanner Bridge Road, and a $5,695.48 final closeout addition to the 2026 chip-seal program.

Public-works staff (S3) presented a set of construction change orders and final closeouts for county road and bridge projects. For the Tanner Bridal Road bridge replacement, deeper sound rock required longer rock sockets and additional reinforcing steel, increasing construction by $42,037.80; staff said the majority of that cost will be included in BRO funding and the county's portion is around 1%.
