Public Works seeks review and master plan task order for Eel Transfer Station

Public Works staff told commissioners they have a task order under the on‑call contract to evaluate the Eel Transfer Station, the old landfill and property uses and to update site flow and operations. The review would consider whether a scale is feasible at the Belfair site and identify improvements to traffic flow and customer processing. Staff said evaluation work is budgeted for 2026–27 and planned to include at least two stakeholder workshops and presentations to the commission.
