County staff described a routine grant action to apply for the remaining three months of a previously awarded four‑year indigent defense grant to fund a misdemeanor coordinator. "This is just routine. It is for the last 3 months on the grant, that we have gotten for 4 years now to pay for a misdemeanor coordinator," the staff member told the court.
