Floyd County Board of Health members discussed a short‑term reorganization of the Environmental Health department following the departure of the assistant, Jen Solomon. The board agreed on a trial basis to have Floyd County Public Health staff field calls, perform some data entry and schedule appointments for Environmental Health; the possibility of physically relocating Environmental Health to the Public Health office will be revisited at the May meeting.
