City staff presented a draft FY2027 budget that staff said totals about $1,600,000,000, with the majority of that amount programmed for capital projects rather than operating costs. "So the overall budget is, we anticipated being proposed at 1,600,000,000," the city manager said as staff walked the council through fund schedules and the capital improvement plan.
