Jade Bridal, the city’s Comprehensive Planning Manager, asked the commission for feedback on a package of proposed amendments to the Unified Development Code. Bridal said the most substantial change is creation of a Parks Overlay district requested by City Council; other changes are primarily administrative clarifications focused on impervious surface measurement methods, parking-ratio definitions (clarifying that patio space is included), sign spacing, fences, and identifying a few new land-use categories, including clarifying distinctions in medical‑use intensity (office-type medical versus true medical/hospital facilities).
