Representatives from the McAllen VA clinic asked the court to help place 988 crisis-line signage in public locations and county facilities that veterans frequent. The VA said the signs are intended to make the veterans crisis line (988) easier to find and urged the county to accept donated signs for placement at county buildings and public spaces.
