Editorial and fact‑checking audit of draft articles and subsequent revisions to address ambiguities and attribution consistency.
The full story
Audit summary: I reviewed the draft articles for spelling, clarity, chronology, framing, misidentification, out‑of‑context quotes, quantitative precision, process clarity, agency clarity, question emphasis, omission, bias and duplication. Issues identified and addressed include ambiguous vote outcomes in the Addison Green items, inconsistent speaker labeling, and places where the transcript's numeric values were unclear. Revisions made: clarified that vote language in the transcript was procedurally ambiguous and reported the chair's recorded wording rather than inferring final council actions; standardized speaker labels using only names explicitly stated in the transcript or functional labels; corrected statutory/plan names to match transcript usage (Advance Addison 2050); and retained only evidence supported by the transcript. No new factual claims were introduced.
