The Commissioners Court adopted two proclamations during its Sept. 29 session. The court proclaimed October 2026 as Mediation Awareness Month to recognize services provided by the Central Texas Dispute Resolution Center, and it adopted a proclamation designating Oct. 4–10 as Fire Prevention Week in Guadalupe County.
