During the April 14 meeting the Fiscal Court approved personnel actions at the Logan County Sheriff’s Department. The court promoted Benjamin R. Johnson from Sheriff Deputy Patrol to Sheriff Deputy‑Sergeant and Jason A. Brent from Sheriff Deputy‑Sergeant to Detective Sergeant, both effective April 13, 2026. The court also approved hiring Edward B. Daniel as a part‑time bailiff (effective March 25, 2026) and Daniel A. Gray as a full‑time deputy (effective April 20, 2026).
