Council approved payment of $8,242 in Holt County Economic Development dues; Councilmember Ron Krysl voted no. Council noted any change to Atkinson’s fee would require a proposal to and approval by other member communities before HCED’s fiscal year begins July 1, 2025.

On Nov. 4 the Atkinson City Council voted to pay Holt County Economic Development (HCED) dues in the amount of $8,242.00. The motion, made by Chuck Asher and seconded by Scott Shane, carried on roll call with Councilmember Ron Krysl recorded as the lone nay vote.
